Born in Sakarya in the year 1998. Graduated from Anadolu University Fine Arts Faculty Sculpture Department in 2025 and in the education year 2024-2025, he was in Accademia di Belle Arti Carrara through Erasmus+ scholarship program. Today, continues education in Anadolu University, MA in Sculpture and continues to produce works in Eskişehir.
Artistic Write-up
What is touching? Touching someone's life, touching an object, touching self? Touching is a form of exploration. We gain information about things through touch. This information can be about the nature of that thing such as warmth and cold, roughness and smoothness, softness and hardness, or touching can provide information about what that thing is through its familiarity. Touching is a way of understanding not only the object but also the world. I partake of everything I touch; because everything I touch simultaneously touches me. Therefore, every touch leaves a trace on my body/mind. This trace is a kind of knowledge that is in such place, it can only be sensed without any premises, any words, or any sound. I need to use the most suitable material while expressing my intuitive knowledge. The search for this material turns into a new exploration for me. My sculptures are the product of this kind of understanding. My art is about the transformation of intuitive knowledge, the knowledge of touch, into various forms.
